Due to increased domestic sales and reduced imports, the inventory of Diammonium Phosphate in Pakistan showed a continuous downward trend throughout the entire month of November.
According to data from the National Fertilizer Development Center (NFDC) of Pakistan, the inventory of Diammonium Phosphate was only 33,000 tons at the beginning of December, significantly lower than the same period last year (562,000 tons).
In November, the total domestic procurement of Diammonium Phosphate was 278,000 tons, marking an 18% year-on-year increase. The import volume in November reached 123,000 tons, compared to 239,000 tons in the same period last year. Domestic production in November reached 71,000 tons, essentially remaining flat compared to the same period last year's 67,000 tons.
Pakistan imported 295,000 tons of Diammonium Phosphate from October to November. NFDC predicts that during the Rabi season, the purchase volume of Diammonium Phosphate will reach 875,000 tons, a 23% increase from last year.
By the end of March 2024, the inventory is expected to reach 99,000 tons.
