China exported a total of 1.64 million tons of various fertilizers in February 2023.
According to China Customs statistics, China exported a total of 1.64 million tons of various fertilizers in February 2023; including 170,000 tons of urea, 890,000 tons of ammonium sulfate, 90,000 tons of diammonium phosphate and 150,000 tons of monoammonium phosphate.
From January to February 2023, China exported a total of 3.59 million tons of various fertilizers, an increase of 40.9% year-on-year; the cumulative export amount was 1.396 billion USD, an increase of 29.6% year-on-year. Among them, the cumulative exports of urea 410,000 tons, an increase of 71.8%; ammonium sulfate cumulative exports of 1.78 million tons, an increase of 11.6%; diammonium phosphate cumulative exports of 370,000 tons, an increase of 1.9%; ammonium phosphate cumulative exports of 350,000 tons, an increase of 243.8%. According to the nutrient conversion, January to February China's cumulative exports of urea, ammonium sulfate, ammonium phosphate converted nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium pure nutrients of 1.092 million tons.
On the import side, 790,000 tons of various fertilizers were imported in February 2023.
Including potassium chloride and nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium ternary compound fertilizer imported 690,000 tons and 90,000 tons, respectively. January to February, the cumulative import of potassium chloride 1.62 million tons, an increase of 10.8%; nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium ternary compound fertilizer imported 130,000 tons, an increase of 1.8%. According to the nutrient conversion, the total imports of potassium chloride and ternary compound fertilizer in January to February converted nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium pure nutrients of 1,034,400 tons.
