EU Imports of Urea from Azerbaijan Show Steady Growth from January to July.

According to statistics from the Eurostat, from January to July 2023, EU countries imported 86,000 tons of urea from Azerbaijan, marking a 4.9-fold year-on-year increase.


The total import value reached €33.11 million (approximately $35.06 million), showing a 2.7-fold year-on-year growth.


Poland imported 1,800 tons with a total import value of €7.1 thousand (approximately $7.5 thousand).


Slovenia imported 4,753 tons with a total import value of €181.1 thousand (approximately $191.7 thousand).


Greece imported 5,500 tons with a total import value of €281.8 thousand (approximately $298.4 thousand).


Italy imported 19,000 tons with a total import value of €7.835 million (approximately $8.295 million).


Romania imported 56,000 tons, experiencing a 2.8-fold year-on-year increase, with a total import value of €20.563 million (approximately $21.771 million), showing a 1.3-fold year-on-year growth.


In 2022, EU countries imported 78,000 tons of urea from Azerbaijan, marking a 31.9% year-on-year increase. The total import value reached €53.784 million (approximately $56.927 million), showing a 0.7-fold year-on-year growth.
