China's major fertilizer imports and exports in June.

Exports: 

In June 2024, China exported a total of 2.96 million tons of various fertilizers, including:

  • 70,000 tons of Urea

  • 1.24 million tons of Ammonium Sulfate

  • 480,000 tons of Diammonium Phosphate (DAP)

  • 320,000 tons of Monoammonium Phosphate (MAP)

From January to June 2024, China exported a total of 12.61 million tons of various fertilizers, a year-on-year decrease of 0.8%. The total export value was USD 3.234 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 27.6%.

Specific Fertilizer Exports for January to June 2024:

  • Urea: 140,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 86.2%

  • Ammonium Sulfate: 6.54 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 12.8%

  • Diammonium Phosphate (DAP): 1.51 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 37.3%.

  • Monoammonium Phosphate (MAP): 930,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 0.8%

Imports: In June 2024, China imported a total of 950,000 tons of various fertilizers, including:

  • 840,000 tons of Potassium Chloride (KCl)

  • 100,000 tons of NPK compound fertilizer

From January to June 2024, China imported a total of:

  • Potassium Chloride (KCl): 6.43 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 23.3%

  • NPK Compound Fertilizer: 630,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 0.5%.
