From January to June 2024, China exported a total of 12.61 million tons of various fertilizers, a year-on-year decrease of 0.8%. The total export value was USD 3.234 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 27.6%.

Urea: 140,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 86.2%
Ammonium Sulfate: 6.54 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 12.8%

Imports: In June 2024, China imported a total of 950,000 tons of various fertilizers, including:
840,000 tons of Potassium Chloride (KCl)
100,000 tons of NPK compound fertilizer
From January to June 2024, China imported a total of:
Potassium Chloride (KCl): 6.43 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 23.3%
NPK Compound Fertilizer: 630,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 0.5%.
