China's Fertilizer Export Data
According to Chinese customs statistics, in December 2024, China exported a total of 2.86 million tons of various fertilizers, including:
Urea: 2400 tons
Ammonium sulfate: 1.77 million tons
Diammonium phosphate (DAP): 0.21 million tons
Monoammonium phosphate (MAP): 0.14 million tons
From January to December 2024, China cumulatively exported 32.13 million tons of fertilizers, marking a year-on-year increase of 2%, with a total export value of $8.71 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 11.5%. Specific product performance included:
Urea: Total export volume of 0.26 million tons, down 93.9% year-on-year.
Ammonium sulfate: Total export volume of 17.12 million tons, up 24.3% year-on-year.
Diammonium phosphate (DAP): Total export volume of 4.56 million tons, down 9.4% year-on-year.
Monoammonium phosphate (MAP): Total export volume of 2 million tons, down 1.5% year-on-year.
China's Fertilizer Import Data
On the import side, in December 2024, China imported 1.5 million tons of various fertilizers, including:
Potassium chloride (MOP): 1.41 million tons
NPK compound fertilizers: 0.07 million tons
From January to December, cumulative imports were as follows:
Potassium chloride (MOP): 12.6 million tons, up 9.2% year-on-year.
NPK compound fertilizers: 1.23 million tons, up 1.4% year-on-year.
